A beautiful vintage Italian micro-mosaic pill or trinket box, handcrafted in the mid-20th century. The lid features an exceptionally intricate geometric kaleidoscopic design composed of multi-colored glass tile tesserae (red, green, blue, yellow, and black) set within a textured brass oval frame. The micro-mosaic mimics a Gothic rose window or abstract sunburst pattern. The sides of the oval brass box feature a fine, etched filigree. A genuine, unmarked, vintage Grand Tour collectible.

Era: Vintage Mid-Century (circa 1950s-1970s).
